Description: Tasmanian Spice Traders’ Baharat Seasoning is the perfect way to add the deep, complex, and subtly exotic flavors of the Middle East to your table. Baharat means ‘spices’ in Arabic, and this warm, earthy, smoky, sweet, slightly tangy blend without any spiciness but just a bit of peppery heat is ubiquitous in Middle Eastern/Arabic cuisines and can be used as part of the cooking process or as a condiment for all kinds of dishes. This highly versatile, all-purpose blend is to Middle Eastern and Arabic cooking as Garam Masala is to the cooking of India making it a must for any kitchen that wishes to prepare traditional, authentic, Middle Eastern/Arabic cuisine.

Baharat should never contain added salt and Tasmanian Spice Traders holds to this convention which makes our proprietary Baharat perfect for those requiring a limited salt intake and allows everyone the flexibility to season their meals to their own preferences.
