This bold, fiery hot blend is packed with complex flavor that adds depth, dimension, and a touch of the exotic to your cooking. Our truly authentic, handcrafted Berbere Seasoning takes no shortcuts. Made using only authentic,  ingredients including: African Birds Eye Chiles (Piri Piri), Nigella Seed, Ethiopian Passion Berry, Korarima (Ethiopian Cardamom), Timiz (Ethiopian Long Pepper), Ajwain (Carom Seed), and a host of other traditional spices to deliver unparalleled, authentic flavor. Just keep in mind that it is not just hot, it is Berbere hot!

Our proprietary Berbere blend contains no added salt making it perfect for those requiring a limited salt intake and giving everyone the flexibility to season their meals to their own preferences.

Suggested Uses

Use to make authentic Ethiopian dishes including: Siga Tibs, Shiro be Kibbe, Yetet’ebese Doro, Doro Wot, Sega Wot, Ethiopian stews (Wot) of all kinds, and to bring Authentic Ethiopian flavor and heat to your own creations.

  • Use as a dry rub for meats, fish, poultry, or vegetables before roasting, grilling, smoking, or frying
  • Add to sauces, marinades, soups, stews, or braises for a flavorful, fiery boost
