Use Tasmanian Spice Traders' Carolina BBQ Pork rub as a dry rub for smoked, roasted, or grilled pork of all kinds, as well as steaks, chicken, fish, shrimp, scallops, or vegetables
- Mix with ground meat for incredible Carolina BBQ flavored burgers, meatballs, kababs, or meatloaf
- Add to chili stews, baked beans, marinades, sauces, and braises
- Mix in equal parts with water, broth, or beer to use as a sauce, marinade, or glaze

Be Aware:
Our proprietary Carolina BBQ Pork Rub does not contain salt, which is an essential component of a complete barbeque rub or seasoning. By leaving out the salt, we ensure that you get more of the good stuff in each container. To achieve the perfect barbeque flavor, simply add your own salt. As a general guideline, use ½ teaspoon of coarse salt for every pound of meat or vegetables. For meats, rub the salt on all surfaces and let sit for 10 minutes before applying the BBQ rub. Allow the seasoned meat to rest for at least 20 minutes before cooking using your preferred method. For all other ingredients and dishes, simply add the BBQ rub and salt to taste as you normally would.
The first time I used it on a pork tenderlion, I didn't use enough salt. The second time I cooked with it, I looked up how to use this blend as a marinade in the description. There was a guideline for how much salt to use and it came out great.
