Our Black Garlic is made from fresh garlic that is fermented at low temperature and high humidity for 90 days to develop the sweetness and flavor for which black garlic is known before being dried and ground. The fermentation process not only turns the garlic literally black in color, but it removes the ‘harsh and sharp bite’ of raw garlic and develops a wonderfully rich, mellow garlic flavor with hints of sweet balsamic, tamarind, molasses, and dates that is full of complexity and umami delivering incredible depth and taste wherever it is used.
