Description: Smoked Paprika (AKA ‘Pimenton de la Vera, Dulce’ or ‘Spanish Sweet Smoked Paprika’), has an intense wood smoke aroma and a much bolder, richer, more complex flavor than ‘regular’ Paprika. It is used throughout Spain and the Mediterranean (and many more places in recent times) to season dishes, garnish foods, and to add wood fired flavor without having to smoke the food itself. Made from the Spanish pimentón pepper grown in the microclimate of the La Vera Valley of Spain and then smoked over an oak fire, before being de-seeded and ground into a fine, burnt-orange/red powder with exceptional flavor and aroma. Tasmanian Spice Traders is proud to offer this premium Smoked Sweet Paprika so you can add incredible flavor to your meals and help you prepare truly authentic Paella, Patatas Bravas, Fabada Asturiana, Espinacas con Gambas, Bacalao a la Riojana, and much, much, more
